Acmeware On the Move
Acmeware is pleased to announce our latest strategy for MEDITECH Data Repository customers: AcmeVault. When an opportunity arose for us to move into a larger office -- one that has an FDIC-compliant vault built-in – we couldn’t wait to sign the lease. Our existing and new clients can now rest assured that we have the “safest” office space of any MEDITECH consultancy.
After twelve years of steady growth, we had outgrown our offices on Washington Street near Dedham Square. Our small but growing family of employees (we’ve grown by 20% a year for the last three years) now has a little more breathing room in our new location at 601 High Street, in the heart of Dedham Square, in the Dedham Institution for Savings building.
Built in 1892 by the Darling brothers of Worcester, the building was designed in the handsome Romanesque Revival style by Boston architects Hartwell & Richardson. Currently owned and partly occupied by the Schortmann Insurance Agency, Acmeware’s new ground floor offices were the site for many years of a Dedham Savings Bank branch. Having a big old vault in our new space makes a handy (not to mention secure) server room, and also gives us something to chat about at MUSE trade shows.
Acmeware is a leading provider of MEDITECH Data Repository consulting services, with a proven record of success working with DR customers for nearly 15 years. Another benefit to our new space is that our President, Glen D’Abate, finally gets his own private office (everyone agreed it was the right thing to do.) Now if we can just figure out the combination to that vault…
Thanks to the Dedham Historical Society for information about our new building.
