Information Technology System Administrator (Part-time, contract)
As an Information Technology System Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and security of our organization's IT systems. Your primary focus will be on supporting, configuring, and troubleshooting our network, servers, operating systems, and software applications. Additionally, you will collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies, identify areas of improvement, and develop robust solutions to enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Network Management
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network resources
- Ensure network security through regular updates, firewalls, and access controls
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and provide timely resolution
- Server Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers
- Monitor server performance, resource utilization, and conduct regular backups
- Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Diagnose and resolve server-related problems to minimize downtime
- Operating System Maintenance
- Manage and upgrade operating systems for servers and workstations
- Apply security patches and updates to ensure system integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve operating system-related issues
- Software Management
- Install, configure, and update software applications across the organization.
- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
- Provide technical support for end-users to troubleshoot software-related problems.

- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and server administration.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with software deployment, patch management, and backup solutions.
- Ability to recognize and protect confidential and sensitive information and exercise strict discretion when disseminating or sharing information
- Self-motivated and responsible.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with colleagues at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator, etc.) are a plus.

Product Solutions Manager (Full-time, employee)
An Acmeware Product Solutions Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage all aspects of the product development life cycle and provide leadership in design and development of various software products. The Product Solutions Manager designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software applications; supports and/or installs software applications and database management systems; participates in the testing and QA process through test review, test witnessing and application certification. This position requires hands-on technical problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and software development/coding of all types.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
- 5+ years’ experience in healthcare technology or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in application design and development
- MEDITECH healthcare information system, or equivalent EHR or HCIS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant experience
- Visual Studio / ASP.net Web based applications
- Programming skills in at least one of the following: C++, C#, Java
- Relational database management administration, especially Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of XML based data manipulations and application data exchange design
- Understanding of SQL queries, views and stored procedures
- Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and load processing
- Innovative, self-motivated, with strong communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of MEDITECH Data Repository is a plus
- Understanding of hospital clinical software

Consultant Analyst (Full-time, employee)
We are seeking qualified candidates for Consultant Analyst positions to join our team of analysts whose primary responsibility is to manage our client relationships. This role includes both technical and report development functions as they relate to MEDITECH Data Repository systems, as well as providing professional and high-service consulting and project management services to our clients.
Qualifications, Experience and Personal Attributes
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a minimum 2 years of experience with the following:
- Intermediate to advanced T-SQL stored procedure, function and view development using SQL Server Management Studio.
- Intermediate to advanced server and database administration using SQL Server Management Studio.
- Intermediate to advanced report design, layout, formatting and deployment using SQL Server Reporting Services, including SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT)/Visual Studio and Report Manager and Microsoft Power Bl Desktop.
- Provide proficient DR operational support using the MEDITECH Data Repository application, Acmeware-authored SQL utilities and functions, as well as Blue Elm’s DrAuditor.
- Basic to intermediate design and implementation of data import and/or export interfaces using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
