Getting started with OneView
Acmeware continues its support of Hospitals using the MEDITECH HCIS. Our OneView for EHR Meaningful Use product has helped many hospitals successfully attest for Meaningful Use Stage 1 and Stage 2. We are ONC-ACB 2014 Edition certified for the OneView product. Meaningful Use Stage 2 contains changes to Core Measures, Menu Set Measures and adds AMI and SCIP to the Clinical Quality Measures.
Speed - The use of pre-compiled datamarts as well as direct access to the MEDITECH Data Repository (DR) tables assures optimum performance and a satisfying user experience.
Flexibility - OneView is a highly configurable platform. Using your existing Windows Active Directory, system-wide as well as user-specific preferences can be established to meet global or individual requirements. A flexible architecture insures that custom developed reporting solutions, including those that combine non-MEDITECH data, can be fully integrated in the OneView platform.
Easy - OneView is designed to emulate the look and feel of Microsoft Office 2010 products with an intuitive layout and format, use of familiar menus and tool bars, a status bar, and a default navigation window. Reports can be exported in a variety of formats such as Excel or PDF and scheduled for delivery to specific users or groups via FTP, E-mail or File Sharing.
Secure - OneView has been certified by the Drummond Group to meet or exceed the security requirements outlined in HIT Standards 170.302o-v. These standards include: access control, emergency access, automatic log-off, audit log, integrity, authentication, general encryption, and encryption when exchanging electronic health information. OneView integrates seamlessly into your Windows Active Directory environment and provides a role-based and user-based security model.
The Manage Dictionaries is a nomenclature mapping tool that allows you to configure unique terms defined at your organization to match CMS required vocabulary and manage the inclusion of nomenclature maps for ancillary dictionary entries, patient problems, and medication activity. Manage Dictionaries provides mapping of clinician-friendly diagnosis and procedure terminologies to billing codes and medical concepts.
Manage Dictionaries supports all types of medical vocabulary in addition to MEDITECH custom MIS queries including:
- ICD-9 and ICD-10
- MIS Query/Response
The Manage Dictionary engine enables you to define the vocabulary type, the code, and the mappings between your organization's MEDITECH systems and CMS. For Meaningful Use Stage 2, healthcare organizations will need standardized nomenclatures, quality reports, and nomenclature maps.

The Attestation Vault has been developed from the ground up to fully automate the attestation process from electronic submission to CMS audit compliance. This feature allows users to take a snapshot of attestation information for the dates you attest. This snapshot of information is stored permanently in the OneView database and locked, retaining ALL relevant supporting documentation and adhering to the CMS attestation compliance requirements, ensuring you have the right software for a CMS audit.
- Archives ALL nomenclature maps and dictionary codes relevant to the Attestation reporting period.
- Archives ALL detailed patient-level data and identifiable PHI

Security Audit and Encryption
OneView contains advanced monitoring and auditing capabilities across the entire application, identifying user activity that results in PHI data being viewed. Detailed reporting capabilities are available to see what the user viewed for PHI patient data over any time period. OneView also incorporates Federal encryption technology (FIPS) that prevents any attempt to tamper with a log.
OneView employs the most stringent 256-bit encryption technology, exceeding current federal guidelines for the transmission of PHI data. OneView uses a triple data encryption algorithm for encryption and Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) SHA-256 for cryptographic hash functionality.
