Physician Quality Reporting for MEDITECH

The OneView Physician Quality Reporting Package is designed to meet a healthcare organization’s physician quality program reporting and data submission requirements for both MEDITECH HCIS hospital-based physician activity as well as physician practice activity when using the MEDITECH Medical Practice Management (MPM) or Web Ambulatory applications. Quality Program initiatives presently include the CMS EHR Eligible Professional (EP) Meaningful Use (MU) Reporting Program and the CMS Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

The Physician Quality Reporting Package is designed for Customers using a MEDITECH HCIS MAGIC, CS or M-AT (6.0 or 6.1) system where the MEDITECH Data Repository (DR) application has been implemented. Package license fees are inclusive of the consulting services and custom Transact-SQL code development necessary to identify and report required data within a MEDITECH DR system.  Data values and coding, including ONC Value Set nomenclature mapping, are dictated by the configuration and specific business practices of a healthcare organization. If data extraction, translation and/or integration of third-party (non-DR based) data is required, an additional scope-of-work document and cost estimate is required. The OneView Physician Quality Reporting Package includes implementation services, data validation services, report generation and management features embedded in OneView as well as a comprehensive set of program-specific reports.

Physician Quality Reporting Features:

  • A well-organized web-based portal application with a familiar user interface (UI) from which reports presenting Physician Summary and Detail information can be presented for the purpose of review and program attestation or electronic submission.
  • A pre-compiled datamart allowing physician quality data to be organized and indexed efficiently.  This results in reports that are often able to render results relatively quickly.
  • The ability to import non-MEDITECH CQM information from a certified source into the OneView Physician Quality datamart (may require a contract addendum and possible additional cost).
  • A robust set of data validation reports including the ability to diagnose detailed criteria answering why a performance measure is not met for an individual patient.
  • A set of analysis reports that provide insight into how performance measure values were arrived at for each CQM. These reports are intended to assist in identifying sources impacting low performance and to aid in implementing new or improved business practices that will improve performance measures.
  • Dashboard reports that clearly convey a snapshot of performance measures.
  • The ability to log any user who views patient PHI data in the Package.
  • Tools, reports and consulting services that help ensure you are prepared for a CMS audit.
  • A commitment to support EHR Meaningful Use Stage change requirements under the maintenance agreement (2 to 3). Stage changes may require a stage upgrade fee, though every effort is made to support Stage changes under maintenance.

Electronic Submission Quality Programs:

The OneView Physician Quality Reporting Package collects, analyzes, aggregates and presents data for review by clinical and quality staff.  Data compiled can be used to meet attestation and/or electronic submission reporting requirements for several quality initiative programs, though each program submission feature must be licensed separately within the Package.  Presently, the following two programs are supported:

  • MIPS - Advancing Care Initiatives – Implementation, testing and validation of Objective Measures for web based or electronic submission.
  • MIPS Quality - Implementation testing and validation of eCQMs for annual electronic submission to CMS QualityNet. Acmeware recommends that we be registered as your data submission vendor.
