Empower runs on Microsoft Power BI, which your organization may already license. Power BI Pro starts at $10 per user per month from Microsoft. No additional analytics platform purchases are required.

Where are the reports stored?

Reports are stored in two locations: locally on-premises and in the cloud. This dual-storage approach ensures access regardless of which parts of your infrastructure are affected during an outage.

What reports does Downtime Defender include?

The standard report library includes Patient Summary, Census by Location, Pharmacy MAR, MAR Summary, PCS Documentation, Lab Results, Orders, Scheduling, HR contacts, MM Vendors, Dietary, and a Report Status Dashboard. Custom reports are also available for hospital-specific downtime procedures.

Does ViewPoint require additional software?

No. ViewPoint runs on your existing SQL Server infrastructure. Facility-level databases are compatible with any SQL Server reporting or analytics tool, including Empower, Power BI, SSRS, and others.
